While the Prohibition and the recent legalization of certain recreational drugs in Colorado and Washington states do have their differences in usage and method, the arguments for and against each are very similiar. The Prohibition was an argument to ban the creation of alcohol and today’s argument is to legalize marijuana. Even though the effects of the laws passed are opposite, both claim that each can be harmful, each is a moral decision, and that each could reduce crime.
I disagree with having the electoral college. An election is held to represent what the people want. If a president is elected without the majority of the popular vote, how does that represent the people’s wishes? In the 2000 election, Bush would not have won if it were not for the electoral college. He lost the popular vote, yet he was still elected president. In this years election, their is a very real possibility of these kind of results occuring again. It is a close race between Romney and Obama. Some polls predict that Romney will win the popular vote, but still lose the election as a result of the electoral college. The Electoral college does have some good points, so another option other than eliminating it completely, would be to split electoral votes within states.
Prowling through the forest, growling quietly, the wolf, a solitary figure whose shadow loomed behind him, spied on the little girl. As she ambled towards her grandmother’s, a little old lady who only wanted some company, Little Red hummed quietly, twisting her hair, carrying a basket, drew nearer and nearer to the wolf. The basket, brown and woven, carried yummy and sweet goodies for Little Red’s grandmother. The wolf, a misunderstood creature, which had sparkling green eyes that shown in the sun, creeped through the trees, towards the girl. Little Red, a kind loving young lady, offered him a treat, securing their friendship for the rest of her time in the forest.
I believe in being true to yourself and not compromising your morals to please others
I believe being kind to people no matter what. Whether they are kind to you or not.
I believe that everyone deserves respect and their is no reason to ever treat some one badly.
I believe that it doesn’t matter where you come from or who your family is, the only thing that matters is what YOU do and who you are.
I believe in God and I have faith that their is something greater than this world. I have faith that things will work out and that miracles do happen.
I believe in trying your hardest and doing your best.
I believe in not caring about what others think, even though others opinions are important to me.
I believe in being yourself and not letting others change that.

Their are few things left in the world that are untouched by humans. Humans alter and change the things we come in contact with, even ruin them sometimes. What humans have not encountered or come in contact with is still perfect. It is still in its natural state the way god intended it to be. The more human contact their is, the more those things are changed and destroyed. The environment is a good example of this. Over time humans have spoiled the environment with pollution and buildings and even some farming has depleted soil, making it difficult for some organisms to live

Overall I’ve had a good school year. I survived all my classes, become better friends with some people, and met a guy I really like. Their are a lot of little things I wish I could change, but in the end their not that important. I do wish that I had worked a little harder and applied myself to make better grades.

Society sees success as having a high paying job and being in the upper class. If you have money and own lots of materialistic nice things then you are successful according to society. Money is definitely one way to measure success, but I think that happiness is important too. If you are happy with yourself and the way you are living your life than you are successful in your own way. If I had a loving family that my husband and I could provide for and make happy Thani see that as a successful life. Everyone has their own definition of success so strive for what you want.

On June 2nd, the first Saturday of summer, I’m leaving for kamp!! I’ll be gone for two weeks. When I come back I start Karen Dillard’s. My family and I are going to take a vacation somewhere but we don’t know where yet. Hopefully it will be to costs rica if nobody rents our house there. If not, then maybe to a different beach or to San Francisco. After that I start volleyball for the entire month of August.

I think it is very important to find good qualities in everyone. One person cannot be all bad, just as one person cannot be all good. In the people that come across as bad or that you do not like, it is especially important to find a redeeming quality because you should never hate anyone.

Today is Friday and I have my banquet tonight!!!! I’m so excited :))) I’m getting my hair and make up done then everyone is coming to do pictures at my house. It’s going to be so much fun with me and Daniel, Arthur and Aubrey, and Kristen and trey at my table!!
